MEET YOUR DESIGNER

Trish Andersen, Interior Designer

Hi, I’m Trish. My interest in design began at age 12 when I redesigned my bedroom by knocking out the closet and building an office in that space. Years later I received my professional Interior Designer certification from the New York Institute of Art and Design, and I keep my business current by participating in various design workshops and seminars to stay on top of the trends. Working with national decor chains has given me extensive experience in the interior design arena for over 30 years with an emphasis on designing custom window treatments and luxury upholstered furniture. I love to create design boards and help my clients by sourcing lovely curated furnishings for their homes and office spaces.

REFRESH PROJECT

A refresh can breathe new vitality into an existing space. We will meet at your home or office so you can take me on a tour and outline your design aesthetic and needs for the space. From there, I will develop and refine my ideas to help you achieve your goals. From color and material selections, to furniture, floor, lighting, and accessory selections, we’ll cover every detail until your space is the custom nest you will love to settle into. I’ll create design boards, source the products, select the contractors if needed, and manage he project to uniquely curate your home or office.

VIRTUAL DESIGN

There are new and exciting ways to approach the design process. I can work with you virtually to design your space, from anywhere. I will prepare design boards and present all the source listings for furnishings based on the room photos, measurements and inspiration photos you provide to help me visualize your style and the goals you have in mind. This is a terrific way to work together from anywhere.

DAY DESIGNER

If you are eager for instant results, the Day Designer option might be the perfect package for you.  I will devote 5 hours to meet with you in your space and we will brainstorm together to refresh your space.  I will tackle any situations that concern you and provide color advice, furniture layout and lighting placement, and also style the space.  I will forward the notes from our meeting and you will be off and running to shop and complete your space based on the decisions we made together.
